The Directors, management and staff of Peapack-Gladstone Bank are concerned about and respect the privacy of customers' and consumers' personal financial information. We understand that our customers furnish sensitive information to the Bank in the course of our daily business, and the Bank is committed to treating such information responsibly. We know that our customers expect privacy and security for their personal and financial affairs.
At Peapack-Gladstone Bank, our philosophy is that personal customer information is just that, personal. The Bank will NOT provide your personal information to any nonaffiliated third party for the purpose of their independent telemarketing, direct mail marketing or other marketing through electronic mail of any non-financial products or services.
The Bank will take all the necessary steps to safeguard sensitive information that has been entrusted to us by our customers. The following privacy policy and disclosure outlines our Bank's practice regarding personally identifiable financial information for Bank customers and consumers.

INFORMATION DISCLOSED TO SERVICE PROVIDERS
Legislators who drafted the privacy laws recognized the need for financial institutions to disclose customer information in specific situations to effectively conduct banking business. The laws permit us, in limited situations, to disclose nonpublic personal information with financial service providers, non-financial companies and others. Check printing services are an example of the type of information disclosure permitted by law. To enable Peapack-Gladstone Bank to order checks on behalf of our customers, we may disclose nonpublic personal information such as their name, address and account number with a check printing company. To provide loan coupon books for our customers, we may disclose personal and account information with the coupon printing company. To further protect your privacy, the Bank has entered into written agreements with nonaffiliated third party service providers that require the third party to maintain the confidentiality and security of the information disclosed and not to use such information other than to carry out the purposes for which the bank disclosed such information.
This information is not protected by the opt-out provision as permitted by law.

- Deposit or loan account information, such as your account number and account balance
INFORMATION DISCLOSED TO JOINT MARKETING VENTURES
We utilize outside marketing service providers to assist us in making customers aware of Peapack-Gladstone Bank products and services. Since few of our customers like getting unwanted mail, we, together with the outside marketing firms, try to send mailings only to those customers who are most likely to benefit from the service. To identify these customers, we may use personal customer information.
Typically, the outside marketing firm may provide us with the general characteristics of customers most likely to benefit from a specific bank product. Using those guidelines, the Bank may use information from our customer files to develop a mailing list of customers that match the profile. The marketing company would then use that mailing list to send Peapack-Gladstone Bank information to the targeted customers.
It is important to note that the Bank does not provide the marketing company with specific individual customer information, such as balances, account number or transaction history. However, the marketing company would be aware that the customers included in the mailing match the target profile. Accordingly, the Bank may indirectly disclose the following information about our current and former customers to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf:
- Information we receive from you on applications or other forms, such as name and address
- Information about your transactions with us or our affiliates, such as account balance, payment history, types of accounts and account activity
If the Bank discloses information with a third party nonaffiliated marketing firm for the purpose of telling you about our new products or services, the Bank will enter into a written agreement with the third party that will require the third party to maintain the confidentiality and security of the information and not to use such information for any other purpose.
Federal law allows financial institutions to disclose the information listed above with companies that perform marketing services on our behalf. This information is not protected by the opt-out provision as permitted by law.
The Bank will NOT provide your personal information to any nonaffiliated third party for the purpose of their independent telemarketing or direct mail marketing of any non-financial products or services. We do NOT sell customer information to other companies for marketing purposes.
FORMER CUSTOMERS
We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law.
SAFEGUARDING CUSTOMER INFORMATION
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about current and former customers and consumers to those employees who need that information to provide products or services. The Bank maintains physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard nonpublic personal information.
THE IMPORTANCE OF PRIVACY
We understand the importance of keeping your personal information confidential. We know that you expect privacy and security for your personal affairs and we will take the required steps to safeguard sensitive information that has been entrusted to us by our customers.

This Privacy Policy may be revised by us from time to time as permitted by law. To maintain your trust and confidence, we will notify you promptly, as required by law, in the event that business or legal requirements arise which would require any changes to our policy.
